RARCO Investment Properties, Inc.

Steven has nearly 40 years of experience in the real estate development and investment business and began with an Urban Studies and City Planning degree from Boston University. From there, Steven went straight to work in South West Florida where he eventually became the head coordinator for the current planning section of the Lee County Planning Department. It was here that Steven became attracted to the commercial development business and was lured away from the public sector by a regional planning and civil engineering firm.
Continuing to work for the private sector, Steven became deeply involved in the planning and design of large scale residential and commercial developments. He designed, permitted and followed these projects through the development process to completion. As a logical progression he moved into developing where he worked with a privately owned company designing, permitting, building and marketing a 295 unit multifamily project.
In 1987 Steven started RARCO Investment Properties where he became personally and financially involved with many successful commercial real estate businesses and partnerships. In addition to many other projects, he assembled and developed a 380 acre commercial park in Fort Myers and the Pondella Road Commerce Center in the City of Cape Coral. Steven continues to be deeply involved in the permitting, development and brokerage business.
Steven has been married to his wife Tia for over 32 years and together they have two grown children, Jacob and Mason. He served on his synagogue board of directors for over 10 years and presently sits on the City of Fort Myers Zoning Adjustment Board and is Secretary of the Cypress Lake Golf and Tennis Club. Among many other hobbies and interests, Steven is an active golfer, bicycle rider and has been a private pilot for over 35 years.
